As a preparation for coming to this year’s Jazz workshop, we will be organizing one or two sessions for vocalists interested in attending this year’s workshop. These pre-workshop sessions will be designed to assess incoming students so that we can make sure you have the skill set to come to our workshop and get the most out of it. These sessions will help you prepare some things in advance so that we can take some of the stress out of being ready to attend.

Workshop attendees who indicate their instrument of choice is “voice” will be contacted ahead of the workshop. This will be available to students who register before May 24th, 2018.

Registration for the 2018 South Delta Jazz Workshop will open during the first week of April 2018.  Early Registration for the 2018 festival will end May 24th, 2018.

Guest Artist – Jack Duncan (percussion)

We are pleased to announce that this year’s Guest artist will be percussionist Jack Duncan. Jack is a highly experienced percussionist and educator with many years of experience performing as a regular member of VEJI and the Hard Rubber Orchestra.

Our Jazz Faculty for 2018 has now been confirmed.

We welcome back Jared Burrows (guitar), Rob Kohler (bass), Len Aruliah (saxes), Brad Muirhead (trombone), Stan Taylor (drums) and Stephen Robb (clarinet, sax, piano)

After being a guest artist last year, we would like to welcome Natasha D’Augostino (voice) to our regular Jazz Faculty for 2018!!
